Let’s Play: King’s Quest A Knight to Remember Part 2.

In this edition of Let’s Play, I’m covering Sierra’s return to it’s adventure game roots with King’s Quest.

King’s Quest has always been a game close to my heart, it was part of Sierra’s trinity of adventure games.

My first impression of this game still holds, the interface is FAR too simplified. Even it’s target audience of 5+ would be insulted by the simplicity.

The story line is campy, filled with “We tried too damn hard” puns, exploding out of every conversation. If they toned it down a lot, this game would be a sure fire win. Hopefully the later chapters will chill out a bit.

I’m still going to play this game through to the end, just because I want to see where they take the story.
